Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts inadvertently hinted toward who the team will call up to start Wednesday\u2019s game against the Colorado Rockies.<\/p>\n

Right-hander Bobby Miller was pulled from his start earlier this week after throwing just 55 pitches across 2.1 innings. When Roberts was asked about Miller\u2019s early departure, he was very coy.<\/p>\n
\u201cWas he?\u201d Roberts said to The Orange County Register\u2019s Bill Plunkett. \u201cThat\u2019s interesting.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n With Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, Miller has a 2.25 ERA with 11 strikeouts and 1.42 WHIP across 12 innings pitched.<\/p>\n The right-hander was one of three starting pitchers competing for the final spot in the rotation this spring.<\/p>\n However, the Dodgers optioned Miller to Triple-A and he made his 2025 debut with the Comets.<\/p>\n Miller had an extremely productive first outing in the minors, retiring 12 of his final 14 batters.
