Luka Doncic\u00a0led the charge once again, finishing with a dominant 39-point outing to go with eight rebounds and seven assists.<\/p>\n

With the outcome long decided midway through the fourth, Lakers head coach JJ Redick emptied the bench \u2014 opening the door for rookie guard\u00a0Bronny James to log late minutes<\/p>\n

While he finished with just three points on 1-for-4 shooting, James delivered one of the game\u2019s most noteworthy moments.<\/p>\n

With under two minutes remaining, the rookie guard drilled a 3-point shot after a shifty spin move, drawing cheers from the LA crowd<\/p>\n

It was his ninth made triple of the season \u2014 tying none other than Michael Jordan\u2019s rookie-year total in 1984-85.<\/p>\n

This unexpected news of James tying Jordan on a statistical list has been turning heads on social media.<\/p>\n

“Mind you, Jordan was a 25 year old 5 year college player by the time he got in the league and this 19 year old measures up to him,” a fan wrote.<\/p>\n

“he is the future jordan then,” said another.<\/p>\n

“And Bronny has a game left, so he may actually top MJ,” another pointed out.<\/p>\n

“this the craziest stat I\u2019ve ever seen in my life,” another wrote.<\/p>\n
