Taylor Swift\u00a0is in the midst of a legal dispute involving a Florida-based artist.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kimberly Marasco sued the \u201cEras Tour\u201d headliner for $30 million in February, alleging copyright infringement. This is the second time Marasco is suing Swift after \u201cMarasco was unable to serve Swift with the first lawsuit in a timely manner.\u201d This ultimately led to Judge Aileen Cannon dismissing Swift from the suit that was filed last year.<\/p>\n

Marasco is back at it again, and she appears to have ammunition this time around. According to a new report by\u00a0Newsweek, Marasco\u2019s lawsuit has included and mentioned a number of big-name celebrities.<\/p>\n

Apart from Swift, songwriters Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner were also named as defendants in the case. The lawsuit also includes Universal Music Group, Inc., as well as Republic Records.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, multi-Grammy Award-winning artist Beyonce was also mentioned in the case.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeyonc\u00e9 is not a defendant in the lawsuit, but Marasco mentions one of her songs,\u201d Newsweek\u2019s report read.<\/p>\n

\u201cMarasco alleged that Swift\u2019s \u2018The Man\u2019 contains original expressions from the plaintiff\u2019s poem\u00a0\u2018<\/em>Ordinary Citizen.\u2019 Marasco noted that defense attorneys previously compared a verse of \u2018Ordinary Citizen\u2019 to Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s \u2018If I Were a Boy.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\"Beyonce<\/picture>\n

While not named as defendants either, artists such as Lady Gaga (she was \u201cfeatured in an exhibit\u201d), Elton John (\u201cthe defense previously compared Marasco\u2019s poems to \u2018Candle in the Wind\u2019 by Elton John\u201d), Chaka Khan (defense attorneys also \u201ccompared\u201d Marasco\u2019s work to one of Khan\u2019s songs) and Brad Paisley (\u201creferenced in the lawsuit\u201d) were all also mentioned in Newsweek\u2019s report.<\/p>\n

Even Elon Musk (\u201cMarasco mentions a poem she wrote\u201d about Musk in her lawsuit) and Kim Kardashian (\u201can accompanying exhibit mentions her\u201d) were mentioned in the report.<\/p>\n

All defendants in the case have reportedly been \u201csuccessfully served with the lawsuit,\u201d except for Swift.<\/p>\n

The \u201cFortnight\u201d singer has not released an official statement to address the controversy.<\/p>\n

Right now, Swift has been spending most of her time with her boyfriend,\u00a0Travis Kelce\u00a0of the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs. The couple is reportedly\u00a0taking advantage of the time\u00a0they have together while they still can. Both Swift and Kelce are reportedly anticipating a sudden shift in their relationship once their respective work schedules start getting extremely busy again.<\/p>\n
