Less than a minute into the contest, Doncic and James pulled off an epic alley-oop play that had fans talking.<\/p>\n
While surveying his teammates, Doncic effortlessly threw a high pass over Rockets forward Cam Whitmore.<\/p>\n
In a split second, James rushed toward the rim, caught the ball and ended the play with a thunderous dunk.<\/p>\n

After the play, James was seen smiling at Doncic, while the latter couldn’t believe how it went down. The NBA, for its part, shared a slow-motion version of the play.<\/p>\n

The Lakers would end up getting the 140-109 win over the Rockets at Crypto.com Arena.<\/p>\n
Luka Doncic led the way with 39 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, LeBron James added 14 points, four rebounds and eight assists to help the Purple and Gold get their 50th win of the regular season.<\/p>\n
With the win, L.A. also locked up the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference. It remains to be seen how far Doncic and James can take the Lakers in the postseason.<\/p>\n
