At the time,\u00a0<strong>I truly thought that Hannah Montana was the biggest pop star in the world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When &#8220;You&#8217;ll Always Find Your Way Back Home&#8221; echoed through my living room, an earworm was implanted in my brain forever. At the time, I didn&#8217;t know that I was witnessing the beginnings of a legend&#8217;s career.<\/p>\n<p>Myself and every early 2000s kid have Taylor Swift to thank for this empowering track.<\/p>\n<p>The producers of the film asked Swift if she would be willing to provide some of her music for the movie, and she was ecstatic to be involved. The song is a perfectly crafted pop hit; Swift knows how to make the formula work.<\/p>\n<section class=\"emaki-custom-block emaki-custom-pullquote adsninja-injected-repeatable-ad-afterend\" data-nosnippet=\"\">\n<div id=\"custom_block_8\" class=\"emaki-custom pullquote\">\n<div class=\"custom_block-content pullquote\">\n<p>I didn&#8217;t know that I was witnessing the beginnings of a legend&#8217;s career.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>The charm of this song to me is the way\u00a0<strong>it speaks to its target audience<\/strong>. This song encourages kids to find comfort and support in their roots and communities.<\/p>\n<p>Even today, it is comforting to know that I can change my hair, my clothes, my style, and even my mind, but I can always fall back on those who love me.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"swift-also-appeared-in-the-movie-to-sing-her-song-quot-crazier-quot\">Swift Also Appeared In The Movie To Sing Her Song &#8220;Crazier&#8221;<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"this-was-swift-39-s-first-movie-appearance\">This Was Swift&#8217;s First Movie Appearance<\/h3>\n<div id=\"VOk5_r3Fm0g\" class=\"w-rich w-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VOk5_r3Fm0g\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Taylor Swift is not only the brains behind one of the most defining tracks of the movie, but she also made an appearance on screen. In the movie, Miley attends a fundraiser barn party where Taylor Swift performs the slow country ballad &#8220;Crazier.&#8221; The song is so early Taylor Swift; it is a dreamy love song about being swept off your feet. In the production notes for the movie (<strong>Visual Hollywood<\/strong>), Swift says that she didn&#8217;t write the song for the movie, but\u00a0<strong>when she sent it in to the production team, they fell in love with it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Critics in 2009 felt that\u00a0<strong>Swift&#8217;s performance upstaged Miley Cyrus in her own film<\/strong>. A\u00a0TV Guide\u00a0review praised Swift for her authenticity and charm, something the writer claimed Miley Cyrus lacked in her role. While I think this critical review of Cyrus is unfair, &#8220;Crazier&#8221; is certainly a highlight of the movie.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"will-quot-you-39-ll-always-find-your-way-back-home-quot-amp-quot-crazier-quot-become-taylor-39-s-versions\">Will &#8220;You&#8217;ll Always Find Your Way Back Home&#8221; &amp; &#8220;Crazier&#8221; Become Taylor&#8217;s Versions?<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"crazier-things-have-happened\">Crazier Things Have Happened<\/h3>\n<div id=\"B0p4Lv0t124\" class=\"w-rich w-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/B0p4Lv0t124\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p class=\"adsninja-injected-repeatable-ad-afterend\">Unfortunately,<strong>\u00a0I can not guarantee that these two beloved tracks will get a Taylor&#8217;s Version re-recording<\/strong>. However, I do not think it is outside the realm of possibility. Swift has yet to release the re-release of her 2006 self-titled album.<\/p>\n<p class=\"adsninja-injected-repeatable-ad-afterend\">That would be around the time that she likely wrote these two songs for the Disney Channel movie. Fans speculate that these songs could appear on the album as &#8220;vault&#8221; tracks that Swift has tagged on at the tail end of her re-releases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Swift did recently show &#8220;Crazier&#8221; some love<\/strong>\u00a0at her Edinburgh Eras Tour stop. She performed the song as one of her famous bonus songs, accompanying herself on the piano.<\/p>\n<p>Hearing the song with her current vocal strength and style feels like\u00a0<strong>a full circle moment<\/strong>. When &#8220;Hannah Montana: The Movie&#8221; was released, Swift was 19 years old. He sold the rights to all of her earliest masters in 2020, according to\u00a0Variety. This doesn&#8217;t mean much, because she has released Taylor&#8217;s Versions in the last five years, but it is worth noting. &#8220;Crazier&#8221; deserves more love and I would be happy to hear &#8220;You&#8217;ll Always Find Your Way Back Home&#8221;
