\"C\u00f3The NFL has officially been put on warning.<\/p>\n

Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0tight end Travis Kelce contemplated retirement after his team’s devastating loss to the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>\u00a0in Super Bowl LIX. However, he couldn’t stay away from the game he loved.<\/p>\n

So, Kelce made the decision to return for the 2025 season.<\/p>\n

And when\u00a0speaking with The Athletic<\/a>\u00a0at the NFL Annual League meetings, Reid gave an important update about Kelce’s offseason training.<\/p>\n

“He wants to come back and he\u2019s training like crazy, too,\u201d\u00a0Reid told The Athletic’s Nate Taylor.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Kelce was criticized a lot last season for his slow start to the season and his lower statistical production. However, Reid did take some of the blame for that, revealing that they need to find better ways to help him on offense instead of having to rely solely\u00a0on him at all times.<\/p>\n

And that includes having him rest a little bit more. Kelce played 84% of the Chiefs offensive snaps last season, but that’s expected to change.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll see when he comes back and see where he\u2019s at,\u201d Reid explained. \u201cHe\u2019s learning when to come out when he needs it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were banged up at the (receiver) positions, so that doesn\u2019t help a tight end\u2019s cause at all. The healthier we can be around him, he can still be productive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Year 13 is going to be fun.<\/p>\n

Travis Kelce Announced on New Heights That He Was Returning For Another Season<\/h2>\n

At the beginning of March, Kelce answered the question fans desperately wanted to know on his popular New Heights podcast.<\/p>\n

“Kansas City, we’re back at it for at least one more year. I can’t say whether or not this will be the last year because I still love a lot of what I do for the city of Kansas City and the Chiefs organization,” Kelce said. “I know I got one on my contract and I’m going to give you everything I got.”<\/p>\n

It’s clear the the tight end still loves the game despite the wear and tear it takes on his body. He even said exactly that when describing\u00a0why he decided to return.<\/a><\/p>\n
