Xavier Worthy is fighting back against Tia Jones.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0wide receiver finds himself entangled in a disturbing legal battle following shocking allegations of domestic abuse made by his former fianc\u00e9e, Tia Jones.<\/p>\n

The explosive accusations would lead to his arrest and subsequent release as the local district attorney said he wouldn\u2019t pursue the case.<\/p>\n

Now Worthy is throwing out his own allegations.<\/p>\n

Xavier Worthy is suing Jones and claiming she abused him and fabricated claims of domestic violence in an effort to \u201cextort a home, money, cars, and other valuables\u201d from him.<\/p>\n

TMZ\u00a0reported\u00a0he filed the lawsuit in Texas on Monday.<\/p>\n

The publication states Worthy says Jones became violent and \u201cextortive\u201d after he found out she was cheating on him.<\/p>\n

He repeatedly asked her to leave their home and even offered to get her an apartment to allow her time to get \u201cback on her feet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Worthy says she refused and \u201cbecame enraged and engaged in a series of abusive, extortive efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Xavier Worthy then claimed Jones destroyed his game room earlier this month as he showed pictures of a broken desk and a PlayStation 5. Soon, he alleges she scratched his face and ripped huge chunks of his hair from his head.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old wide receiver says Jones would fabricate an abuse story in a petition to get a protective order.<\/p>\n

Worthy recently completed his rookie season with the Chiefs, where he caught 59 targets for 638 receiving yards and a team-high six receiving touchdowns in his first year.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Tia Jones, the fianc\u00e9e of Xavier Worthy, obtained a temporary protective order against the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver.<\/p>\n

The order was granted after Worthy\u2019s arrest on a charge of assault of a family or house member and impeding the breathing or circulation, a third-degree felony assault.<\/p>\n

Hours later, however, the status of the charge on his jail record was updated to \u201cdismissed\/declined,\u201d and the local district attorney said he wouldn\u2019t pursue the case.<\/p>\n

Worthy\u2019s legal team would soon release a statement that called her allegations against its client \u201cfalse\u201d and accused Jones of having stolen items from Worthy\u2019s home while he was in jail.<\/p>\n
