Taylor Swift\u00a0continues to do her part for charity.<\/p>\n

The singer, 34 \u2014 who is currently on a break from her\u00a0Eras Tour\u00a0dates until mid-October when she heads to Miami to perform at the Hard Rock Stadium on Friday, Oct. 18 \u2014 reportedly\u00a0made multiple food bank donations\u00a0during her U.K. shows earlier this year.<\/p>\n

One person who is thankful for Swift’s generosity is Rachel Biggs, the CEO of Cardiff Foodbank. The pop superstar performed at the Welsh city’s Principality Stadium on June 18.<\/p>\n

“Taylor Swift’s generous donation to Cardiff Foodbank bought an incredible one and a half articulated lorries of food,” Biggs said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.<\/p>\n

“With this we supported over 925 people in need across Cardiff with a three-day emergency food parcel to make sure that people in crisis did not go hungry and offered a listening ear to support people to try and enable them to not need us again,” the CEO added.<\/p>\n

The statement included, “We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift not only for her generous donation, but for shining a light on the global issue of poverty and the need to support local food banks who will continue to support people with emergency food for as long as we are needed.”<\/p>\n

“We have spent Taylor’s generous donation and are grateful to the continued support of the general public. As we head into the busiest time of the year, if you’re able to do so please donate food or money to your local food bank, and use your voice to help us to bring about lasting change to address poverty so that we’re not needed in the future,” the charity added.<\/em><\/p>\n

The charity’s latest message comes after the team shared a message thanking Swift on\u00a0Instagram\u00a0on June 24.<\/p>\n

Referencing the singer’s 2014 hit “Wildest Dreams,” Cardiff Foodbank wrote in the caption, “Well, this is beyond our Wildest Dreams! \ud83e\udef6” alongside some Swiftie-style friendship bracelets which spelled out “Thank you Taylor, Love Cardiff Foodbank.”<\/p>\n

“A HUGE thank you to Taylor Swift for deciding to make a generous donation to support our work at Cardiff Foodbank after The Eras Tour came to Cardiff last week,” the post added at the time.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Taylor has helped put the spotlight on the ever-growing need for food banks – and we’re so grateful for her support \ud83d\udc9a,” the caption included.<\/p>\n

Charity CEO Biggs previously told\u00a0The Guardian\u00a0in June that they were planning to buy “an articulated lorry full of food and other most-needed items to supplement our emergency food parcels” following the donation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis will provide the weight equivalent to feeding 1,200 people three meals a day, for three days \u2013 or 10,800 meals.<\/p>\n

This will be 2.5 weeks of what we typically distribute,\u201d she added of the plans at the time.<\/p>\n
