Or at least that is the point of view of Bleacher Report league analyst Dan Favale, who\u00a0named\u00a0the Celtics forward (who very likely is actually an inch or two taller than his official listed height, but it is what it is) the Association&#8217;s best player at that height in a recent survey of the best player in the league at every height.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Assuming we can agree that the St. Louis native is not actually standing at 6-foot-10 or so, we would have to agree, as the only players Favale can find who touch on anything Tatum does on the hardwood are lacking significantly in other aspects of their respective games, as the B\/R expert notes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">&#8220;Pascal Siakam deserves some consideration here,&#8221; suggests the B\/R analyst. &#8220;Other than him, no one delivers convincing resistance to Jayson Tatum.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"gnt_em gnt_em_img\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"gnt_em_img_i\" src=\"https:\/\/celticswire.usatoday.com\/gcdn\/authoring\/authoring-images\/2025\/03\/10\/SLEB\/82214944007-usatsi-25624317.jpg?width=660&amp;height=440&amp;fit=crop&amp;format=pjpg&amp;auto=webp\" srcset=\"\/gcdn\/authoring\/authoring-images\/2025\/03\/10\/SLEB\/82214944007-usatsi-25624317.jpg?width=1320&amp;height=880&amp;fit=crop&amp;format=pjpg&amp;auto=webp 2x\" alt=\"Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (0) reacts after making a three-point basket against the Los Angeles Lakers during the second quarter at the TD Garden in Boston on March 8, 2025.\" data-g-r=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"gnt_em_img_ccw gnt_em_img_ccw__cap gnt_em_img_ccw__crd\" data-c-caption=\"Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (0) reacts after making a three-point basket against the Los Angeles Lakers during the second quarter at the TD Garden in Boston on March 8, 2025.\" data-c-credit=\"Brian Fluharty\/Imagn Images\"><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">&#8220;Scoring versatility may actually favor Siakam,&#8221; offers Favale, who may be stretching things a bit for drama. &#8220;Tatum has him beat in overall shot efficiency\u2014while taking harder ones. He looms as the more valuable defender to boot, as someone who can rumble with bigs and point-of-attack smalls.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">&#8220;Passing evolution cements the already-sealed deal.
