After reaching his first and only\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0appearance with the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs, DeAndre Hopkins is reportedly jumping to one of the team’s AFC rivals.According to the\u00a0NFL\u00a0Network’s Ian Rapoport, the five-time\u00a0Pro Bowl\u00a0receiver is expected to join\u00a0Lamar Jackson\u00a0and the\u00a0Baltimore Ravens\u00a0on a one-year, $6 million deal.Hopkins was\u00a0acquired\u00a0by the Chiefs via a midseason trade with the\u00a0Tennessee Titans\u00a0last year, where he caught 41 balls for 437 yards and four touchdowns for the back-to-back defending champions.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old’s\u00a0signing\u00a0drew a lot of reaction from fans around the\u00a0NFL.<\/p>\n

“I support DeAndre Hopkins ring chasing,” Matt Harmon admitted.<\/p>\n

“Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman,\u00a0DeAndre Hopkins, Tez Walker, Isaiah Likely, Mark Andrews \u2026..can’t complain now let’s attack the OL,” a fan said.<\/p>\n

“DeAndre Hopkins on Lamar Jackson in May 2023: ‘He’s one of the greats. I would be lying to sit here and say it wouldn’t be an honor one day \u2026 to play with a great guy and a great quarterback like Lamar.'”<\/p>\n

“DeAndre Hopkins, Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry will be must watch television,” The 33rd Team replied. “DHop has more than 2x the Receptions, Receiving Yards, Receiving TDs and Receiving EPA in his career than every other WR on the Ravens active roster combined.”<\/p>\n

“EDC just got DeAndre Hopkins for 1\/2 of 1 year of Darius Slayton. His haters are [expletive] furious right now #MyGM,” another user commented.<\/p>\n

“WELCOME TO BALTIMORE DEANDRE HOPKINS,” a member of the Ravens Flock exclaimed.<\/p>\n

At this point in his career, Hopkins doesn’t appear to be the\u00a0All-Pro\u00a0caliber pass-catcher that he once was. But he’s still more than capable of moving the chains for an offense when healthy and is by all accounts a pro’s pro.<\/p>\n
