Taylor Swift celebrated the culmination of the U.S. leg of the Eras Tour by encouraging fans to remember to vote on Election Day.<\/p>\n

\u201cCouldn\u2019t have asked for a more magical way to end our US shows on The Eras Tour,\u201d the singer wrote on Instagram. \u201cJust had the time of my life with 207,000 beautiful people in Indianapolis who showered us with so much love and excitement and joy\u2026 I know I\u2019ll be looking back on this weekend and smiling because it was just like a dreamscape, all of it. Thank you to everyone who came out to see us on our last 3 American shows!!\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, along with ballot box and American flag emojis, \u201cAnd here\u2019s a friendly but extremely important reminder that tomorrow is the US Election and your last chance to vote.\u201d<\/p>\n

In September, Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for president, confirming that she would be casting her vote for the Democratic candidate.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,\u201d Swift wrote on social media. \u201cI\u2019m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman\u2019s right to her own body for decades.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer emphasized her decision, writing, \u201cI\u2019ve done my research, and I\u2019ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered! I also find it\u2019s much easier to vote early. I\u2019ll link where to register and find early voting dates and info in my story.\u201d The 14-time Grammy winner signed her post as \u201cTaylor Swift\u201d and \u201cChildless Cat Lady.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the endorsement, Walz told MSNBC that he was \u201cincredibly grateful\u201d for Swift\u2019s endorsement. \u201cI say that also as a cat owner, a fellow cat owner,\u201d he added. \u201cThat was eloquent and it was clear, and that\u2019s the type of courage we need in America, to stand up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harris noted that she was \u201cvery proud\u201d to have the pop star\u2019s support. \u201cI really respect the courage that she has had in her career to stand up for what she believes is right,\u201d Harris told Wired<\/em>.<\/p>\n

One person who wasn\u2019t thrilled about Swift\u2019s endorsement of Harris was Republican candidate\u00a0Donald Trump.
