Benson Boone<\/strong>, who opened for the Eras Tour during one of its dates in London, is finally sharing his unfiltered opinion of\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u2014and there’s something about her he finds a bit unfair.<\/p>\n

The “Beautiful Things” singer divulged his journey to the Eras Tour\u2014where he served as one of the only male opening acts for the concert that featured what Swift cheekily referred to as “Female Rage: The Musical” after adding a section for her latest album,\u00a0The Tortured Poets Department<\/em>\u2014in a new interview with\u00a0Rolling Stone.<\/em><\/p>\n

Boone, who was\u00a0the talk of the town after his Grammys performance\u00a0last month, didn’t consider himself a Swiftie before he was invited to join the hottest tour of the last two years, admitting, “I didn\u2019t even know much about her.”<\/p>\n

Still, when her team reached out, he joked, “I literally, like, shit my pants,” despite being a casual listener. “I could not believe it. It was insane, so I started listening to more of her\u00a0music,” he told the publication, explaining, “I didn\u2019t want to go to that show and not know anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

He walked away from the one-day experience with a brand new perspective brought on by the “unbelievable” and “genuine” musician and the “vastly gigantic” show with “countless moving parts behind the scenes that nobody knows about.”<\/p>\n

“I got the privilege to talk to her, for a while, and she\u2019s so kind,” he shared, also noting how she “shouted [him] out onstage”\u2014something he felt was not a requirement by any means.<\/p>\n

“It really changed my perspective on so many things that I want to carry into my own career,” he reflected, pointing to “the way I\u00a0treat people and my crew” after “watching\u00a0the way that she treats people.”<\/p>\n

“There\u2019s a lot of\u00a0people who don\u2019t like Taylor Swift,” he added.
