Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West have been at odds for years. Swift shared her concerns about the drama between them.<\/em><\/p>\n
Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West have spent years locked in a feud with little hope for reconciliation in sight. West and Swift famously crossed paths when he interrupted her VMA acceptance speech, but they were able to move forward on friendly terms.<\/p>\n
In 2016, however, the feud sparked anew when West referred to Swift as a \u201cb****\u201d in his song \u201cFamous.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kardashian released a phone recording of Swift and West discussing the song, thus painting Swift as a liar. Swift said she worried her career would be over as a result.<\/p>\n

Taylor Swift felt her career was over after a recording released by Kim Kardashian<\/h2>\n
When Kardashian released a\u00a0recording of a phone conversation between West and Swift, the singer faced widespread backlash. She began to view the moment as \u201ccareer death.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cMake no mistake \u2014 my career was taken away from me,\u201d Swift told\u00a0Time\u00a0in 2023.<\/p>\n
Kardashian insisted Swift knew about the song all along and had given West her approval.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe totally approved that,\u201d she told\u00a0GQ, adding, \u201cShe totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn\u2019t. I swear, my husband gets so much s*** for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved. Swift\u2019s team didn\u2019t deny the phone call had happened, but said she hadn\u2019t signed off on the line, \u201cI made that b**** famous.\u201d She believed Kardashian and West were trying to\u00a0take her career away\u00a0from her by sharing the phone call.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar,\u201d she said. \u201cThat took me down psychologically to a place I\u2019ve never been before.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
Kim Kardashian said she felt she needed to defend Kanye West from Taylor Swift<\/h2>\n
In 2020, the full phone call leaked and appeared to vindicate Swift. Kardashian jumped to her husband\u2019s defense.<\/p>\n
\u201c[Taylor Swift] has chosen to reignite an old exchange \u2014 that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now,\u201d Kardashian wrote on Twitter, per\u00a0Us Weekly. \u201cI didn\u2019t feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I\u2019m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I\u2019m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
She insisted that\u00a0Swift was the one lying.<\/em><\/p>\n
\u201cKanye has documented the making of all of his albums of his personal archive, however has never released any of it for public consumption & the call between the two of them would have remained private or would have gone in the trash had she not lied & forced me to defend him.\u201d<\/p>\n
She wants the feud to end<\/h2>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s over it and thinks Taylor should move on,\u201d a source told\u00a0People, adding, \u201c[Kardashian] doesn\u2019t get why [Swift] keeps harping on it. It\u2019s been literally years.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
At this point, though, the bad blood between the three doesn\u2019t seem likely to go anywhere soon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
