Travis Kelce reveals the unusual way Taylor Swift helped him recover from devastating Super Bowl loss<\/strong><\/p>\n After falling short of becoming the first team in NFL history to clinch a\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0three-peat,\u00a0Kansas\u00a0City Chiefs tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce\u00a0was comforted by girlfriend and pop superstar\u00a0Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n In Travis\u2019 return to the \u2018New Heights\u2019 podcast with brother\u00a0Jason Kelce, the Chiefs star revealed how Swift helped him through the aftermath of the defeat.<\/p>\n When asked by Jason if he listens to \u2018sad music\u2019 when he\u2019s feeling down, Travis replied, \u2018Jason, the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first. Right. I listen to music that is very telling of my mood.\u2019<\/p>\n While Jason said he listens to \u2018sad country songs\u2019 when he\u2019s in the dumps, Travis has a different take.<\/p>\n \u2018I just listen to Taylor\u2019s music,\u2019 Travis said of the Eras Tour performer, 35. \u2018She has something for everything.\u2019<\/p>\n Jason replied,\u00a0\u2018That\u2019s fair. That\u2019s a good point. No matter what mood, you can find some Taylor music.\u2019<\/p>\n Travis Kelce says that listening to girlfriend Taylor Swift\u2019s music helped him through a defeat<\/p>\n Kelce and the Chiefs were demolished in Super Bowl LIX by the Philadelphia Eagles<\/p>\n Kelce still says that he hasn\u2019t made a decision about whether or not he\u2019ll return to play in 2025<\/p>\n Swift watched Travis and the Chiefs from a suite at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans as they fell in devastating fashion to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.<\/p>\n It\u2019s similar to when Travis appeared during many of Swift\u2019s shows on her \u2018Eras Tour\u2019 throughout the past two years.<\/p>\n This is not the first episode of the podcast in the aftermath of the Super Bowl defeat, with Travis opening up in the first show they dropped after the loss.<\/p>\n \u2018I have a beautiful life,\u2019 Travis told Jason on an episode from February 9. \u2018I have a beautiful life, man. I have loved ones.<\/p>\n \u2018I have the most amazing family in the world that supports me in everything that I do, and they were all there, you know, cheering me on and hoping for the best on Sunday.\u2019<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the biggest story surrounding Travis is whether or not he\u2019ll be back and playing in the NFL next season.<\/p>\n In an episode from February 12, Travis said,\u00a0\u2018I know everybody wants to know whether or not I\u2019m playing next year, and right now, I\u2019m just kicking everything down the road.
