Josh Giddey is one of the most in-form players in the NBA right now. He has gotten double-doubles in four straight games for the Chicago Bulls and not scored less than 21 points in any of them.<\/p>\n

He is not only putting up the numbers, either. Giddey is showing incredible efficiency as well. He is 14-18 from three-point range over those four games.<\/p>\n

The Bulls might not be winning a lot of games right now, but if Giddey can keep on playing like this, he can be an integral part of Chicago’s future.<\/p>\n

Of course, they will need to extend Giddey next summer for that to happen, as restricted free agency is on the horizon.<\/p>\n

In the past, it has been suggested that Giddey would look for an annual value of $30 million on his next contract.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the season, he was clearly not playing anywhere near that level. But after his newfound form, especially following the exit of Zach LaVine, what kind of contract would Giddey command?<\/p>\n

K. C. Johnson feels that the Bulls will bring him back, and his next contract will be in the $22 million to $24 million range.<\/p>\n

While speaking on 670 The Score, Johnson said: “I’d probably more guess the average per season. And it’s, twenty two, twenty four, somewhere in there. I don’t think it’s gonna be thirty.”<\/p>\n
