Luka Don\u010di\u0107 and his fianc\u00e9e Anamaria Goltes have settled into their new life in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
The 27-year-old model took to Instagram on Feb. 27, sharing a series of snapshots from their first month of living in the city after the 25-year-old point guard’s shocking trade from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers on Feb. 2.<\/p>\n
In the carousel captioned “\u2764\ufe0f,” Goltes shared several photos including a sweet snap of her snuggled up with Don\u010di\u0107, her Valentine’s Day gift from him, photos with their daughter Gabriela at the beach and a selfie of her wearing a Los Angeles Lakers cap.<\/p>\n
Goltes \u2014 who has been engaged to Don\u010di\u0107 since July 2023 \u2014 previously documented supporting Don\u010di\u0107 during the Lakers game on Feb. 9. In the photos shared on Instagram, Goltes held their daughter, who wore purple and yellow ribbons in her hair, while she wore a yellow t-shirt with Don\u010di\u0107’s number on the back.<\/p>\n

On Feb. 25, Don\u010di\u0107 marked his first game against his former team, where the Lakers defeated the Mavericks in a score of 107-99. In a goodwill gesture for fans, Don\u010di\u0107 and Jordan Brand helped pay for those who parked close to the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
A user on X posted a photo of a parking lot near Tom’s Sports Bar that was labeled “FREE PARKING” and “Courtesy of Luka.”<\/p>\n
“Just got free parking right across the arena lol shoutout Luka,” the user wrote on X. “Incredible stuff \ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f.”<\/em><\/p>\n Don\u010di\u0107’s recent trade to the Lakers has been a big topic among basketball fans. Similarly, the trade has shocked NBA players across the league including Don\u010di\u0107’s teammate LeBron James, who was reportedly “surprised by the news” and heard about the deal “while he was out to dinner with his family.”<\/p>\n Kevin Durant also told reporters on Feb. 2 that he thought the move was “crazy.”<\/p>\n “I would’ve never thought Luka Don\u010di\u0107 would get traded at this age, mid-season,” Durant said at the time. “The NBA is a wild place, man.
