She performed no matter the circumstances.<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-3_49\"><em>\u201cI know I\u2019m going on that stage whether I\u2019m sick, injured, heartbroken, uncomfortable, or stressed,\u201d she told\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/6342806\/person-of-the-year-2023-taylor-swift\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Time<\/a>. \u201cThat\u2019s part of my identity as a human being now. Swift spends an entire day in bed to recover.<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-5_55\"><em>\u201cI do not leave my bed except to get food and take it back to my bed and eat it there,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s a dream scenario. I can barely speak because I\u2019ve been singing for three shows straight. Every time I take a step my feet go\u00a0crunch, crunch, crunch\u00a0from dancing in heels.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-taylor-swift-spent-months-preparing-for-her-tour\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Taylor Swift spent months preparing for her tour<\/h2>\n<p id=\"par-6_21\">The Eras Tour was not Swift\u2019s first tour by a long shot, but she knew it would be her most demanding.<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-7_18\">\u201cI knew this tour was harder than anything I\u2019d ever done before by a long shot,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-8_11\">She spent the six months before the tour\u00a0training for it.<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-9_31\"><em>\u201cEvery day I would run on the treadmill, singing the entire set list out loud,\u201d she said. \u201cFast for fast songs, and a jog or a fast walk for slow songs.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p id=\"par-10_24\">She explained that she wanted to be so prepared for the shows that she\u2019d hardly have to think about what she was doing onstage.<\/p>\n<p id=\"par-11_40\">\u201cThen I had three months of dance training, because I wanted to get it in my bones,\u201d she said. \u201cI wanted to be so over-rehearsed that I could be silly with the fans, and not lose my train of thought.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-the-concerts-made-a-record-breaking-amount-of-money\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The concerts made a record-breaking amount of money<\/h2>\n<p id=\"par-12_42\">Her hard work paid off in a big way. The Eras Tour\u00a0made over $2 billion, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time.
