Jason Kelce is recalling the early stages of his brother Travis Kelce\u2019s relationship with Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n
The former Philadelphia Eagles player, 37, joined Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson for the Friday, Feb. 21 episode of their podcast, The Steam Room, and briefly discussed Travis and Swift\u2019s relationship.<\/p>\n
Johnson, 68, asked Jason to explain how he first learned about the budding romance between the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs player and the pop superstar. But Jason confessed to the co-hosts that he was \u201cdrawing a blank on the first moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
Although Jason couldn\u2019t quite recall that initial comment, he told Johnson and Barkley, 62, that he remembered when Travis revealed he was \u201changing out\u201d with the 14-time Grammy winner.<\/p>\n
\u201cI remember just being like, \u2018Are you kidding me? Like you’re going you’re hanging out with Taylor Swift. Like, that’s insane. That’s awesome for you,\u2019 \u201d Jason said.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\u201cI think this felt different,\u201d Jason said of his brother\u2019s relationship. \u201cWhat also felt different is just the way he talks about her and talked about her from the moment he was with her.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou could tell how much he really, really liked her, right from the get-go,\u201d Jason revealed. \u201cI think that the level early on in that was something that was very eye opening to me when we first had discussions.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jason’s Friday interview follows his conversation on the Tuesday, Feb. 18 episode of the\u00a0Fitz & Whit\u00a0podcast in which he said Travis is \u201cchanging.\u201d He explained he sees his brother’s growth in part because of who he surrounds himself with \u2014 which quickly sparked speculation that Swift may be in that group of people.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was like Peter Pan, the lost boys. I think that sometimes you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you,” Jason said, adding, \u201cThat\u2019s a good thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
The\u00a0Tortured Poets Department\u00a0singer, 35,\u00a0and Travis first sparked dating rumors in September 2023 after\u00a0Swift attended a handful of Kelce’s games.<\/p>\n
The couple later confirmed their relationship around that time, after the singer was spotted cheering on the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. She has since attended several games, including his 2024 and 2025 Super Bowl appearances. Travis also attended more Eras Tour shows during their relationship.<\/p>\n
Recently, Travis shared on the Wednesday, Jan. 15 episode of\u00a0The Stephen A. Smith Show\u00a0that he and Swift “are happy” and he’s\u00a0“enjoying all aspects of life.”<\/p>\n
“I couldn’t be happier to have that confidence and that comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium,” Travis said of his relationship with the Red<\/em> singer.<\/p>\n
