Though Taylor Swift has successfully pivoted from country darling, to red-lipped hipster, to cottagecore cozy girl, to glamorous vixen (just to name a few) she somehow has managed to do so using only a handful of looks.<\/p>\n

All she does is take her seven most trusted outfit equations and adapt them to her current aesthetic\u2014it\u2019s really as simple as that.<\/p>\n

Over-the-knee boots, for example, are a calling card in her wardrobe and have been for the last six (6) albums, dating all the way back to her rebellious Reputation days.<\/p>\n

Back then, she styled them with graphic hoodies and serpentine motifs. Today, they remain a pivotal part of her look\u2014specifically, her WAG style. She\u2019s attended dozens of Kansas City Chiefs games wearing thigh-high boots, denim shorts, and corset tops.<\/p>\n

The pop star applies this concept to all her favorite outfits\u2014and, thankfully, she makes it easy for fans to do the same. Honoring her \u201cgirl next door\u201d persona, Swift\u2019s accessible style can be recreated with everyday items that actual girls next door probably already own (and, if not, can be acquired with a quick trip to Zara).<\/p>\n

When Taylor Swift compared herself to an \u201cold cardigan,\u201d she couldn\u2019t have been more wrong. Because the singer has a favorite top and it\u2019s without a doubt the\u00a0corset style. Red carpets, after-parties, game days, sold-out shows\u2014you name it, she\u2019s probably worn a corset top there. And iterations run the gamut. Swift has worn satin styles, tapestry takes, denim versions, and corsets covered completely in rhinestones. Take a page out of Swift\u2019s book and pop one on with any given pant\/skirt style for a look worthy of an international pop star.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s partial to the classic black leather, but the pop star has also worn white and red styles for football games, and even has a snake-embossed brown pair, for Easter Egg purposes. These baddies play best with short-shorts, cropped minis, and oversized shirts worn as dresses\u2014all combinations Swift has personally sported on multiple occasions.<\/p>\n

In between shows, the star reverts back to her natural state of being\u2014and 9 times out of 10, that means a\u00a0pleated mini skirt. She mixes and matches the school girl favorite with bodysuits and button-downs and sweatshirts and crop tops\u2014essentially, every type of blouse in existence. Swift loves this look for date night (cc: Travis Kelce), but can confirm: it also works remarkably well in an office setting.<\/p>\n

Though the star famously paired a hot pink coat with a bikini in her \u201cYou Need to Calm Down\u201d video, she typically layers the luxe outerwear over glitzy mini dresses, doubling up on extravagance. The opulent look is a winner for girls\u2019 nights, date nights, and every manner of cocktail party.<\/p>\n
