Travis Kelce may be dating the most recognisable popstar in the world. But the NFL star has two ‘dealbreakers’ that not even Taylor Swift can bypass.<\/p>\n
The Kansas City Chiefs star and the Anti-Hero singer have been together since September 2023, when Swift attended a Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.<\/p>\n
Their whirlwind romance has become the main talking point in the NFL and celebrity culture. Rumours of a future engagement have refused to go away, with Swift and Kelce often inseparable when seen out in public.<\/p>\n
But it might not have been smooth sailing for the couple in the early stages, when Kelce’s relationship preferences became clear after an interview from 2016 resurfaced.<\/p>\n
The NFL star appeared on the television show ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’ and the footage was reshared after he started his relationship with Swift.<\/p>\n
During a chat with ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ star Ramona Singer, Kelce was asked a series of questions about his dating exploits – and the three-time Super Bowl winner gave a definitive answer when discussing his ‘dealbreakers’.<\/p>\n
When asked how he feels about women who are not keen on participating in oral sex, Kelce – now 35 – said: \u201cSounds like a dealbreaker to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
During the candid conversation, he also revealed his rule that if the woman he is seeing refuses to sleep with him by their third date, he would usually break things off.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the breaker right there,” Kelce said. When asked to elaborate, he clarified: \u201cI don\u2019t want to say it\u2019s a dealbreaker, but it… puts some questions in there.”<\/em><\/p>\n It’s unclear if these rules applied when he hooked up with 14-time Grammy winner Swift. But it appears there has been no change in his strong opinions if his recent chat with his brother, retired NFL icon Jason, 37, is anything to go by.<\/p>\n In a chat about planning first dates, he claimed he wouldn’t take his partner to a strip club, despite craving the food on offer.<\/p>\n \u201cMaybe don\u2019t take her to the strip club,\u201d he said on their ‘New Height’ podcast. \u201cAlthough some strip clubs do have really good wings.\u201d<\/p>\n Kelce and his older sibling disagreed after Travis claimed that women uninterested in sports shouldn’t be forced to attend: \u201cIf she\u2019s not into sports, don\u2019t take her to a f***ing sports game,\u201d he said. \u201cThere\u2019s nothing worse than<\/p>\n Jason responded by suggesting he should be more open to trying new things, having confessed to watching Love Actually with his wife, Kylie.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s part of being an open-minded considerate partner,\u201d the former Philadelphia Eagles star said.<\/p>\n While his romance with Swift continues to burn strong in their 18-month-long relationship, Kelce might have to take his brother’s advice on board if he wants to pop the question.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Travis Kelce may be dating the most recognisable popstar in the world.
