Travis Scott has revealed that he hopes to organise collaborations with Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n
The rapper opened up about his plans for the future during a new interview with Billboard, and revealed the three artists that he would most love to join forces with next.<\/p>\n
It comes after the \u2018Sicko Mode\u2019 hitmaker teamed up with an impressive number of names on his latest album \u2018Utopia\u2019, which saw collaborations with the likes of Beyonc\u00e9, The Weeknd, 21 Savage, Playboi Carti, SZA, Future, Bad Bunny and Drake.<\/p>\n
When asked about who he has been looking at for future pairings, he told the outlet that the first one that came to mind was Houston-based group Khruangbin, who dropped their fourth studio album \u2018A La Sala\u2019 last year.<\/p>\n
He also named two of the biggest names in the pop world at the moment, saying: \u201cThis might be crazy, but I would love to get Taylor Swift or Sabrina Carpenter on a hook.\u201d He also shared that he has already envisioned how the finished material could sound, adding: \u201cI have some ill ideas\u201d.<\/p>\n During the discussion, Scott also quashed any rumours of bad blood between him and the \u2018Espresso\u2019 singer, as it was shared that\u00a0her hit summer album \u2018Short N\u2019 Sweet\u2019 had surpassed the 10th-anniversary edition of his \u2018Days Before Rodeo\u2019 mixtape\u00a0in the charts.<\/p>\n \u201cCharts, shmarts, man. Who measures that? Her album\u2019s cool. \u2018Days Before Rodeo\u2019 is 10 years old. It all works,\u201d he said, before going on to recall the one thing he wishes he could change about his 2015 release.<\/p>\n \u201cI got a lot [of special memories from that time]. \u2018Rodeo\u2019 is lit\u2026 The only thing I wish from that album, and I probably should do for the 10-year anniversary, is that the action figure would come out on a USB and not a CD. That\u2019s the main thing and it never happened.<\/p>\n \u201cThat album creation was everything for me: touring, working on the album and being at Mike Dean\u2019s crib all day. Rest in peace, Meeboob [Dean\u2019s late dog]. Man, we love that dog. It was lit, man.\u201d<\/p>\n Later, the rapper gave an update on new material, and recalled how he thinks it reflects a different time in his life to that of \u2018Utopia\u2019.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like for \u2018Utopia\u2019, I was striving to push things to a high level. I\u2019m still reaching for that,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve been having so much fun with music and shit, that I think it\u2019s cool to be artistic and have fun with it.\u201d<\/p>\n Details about the forthcoming release, including the title, release date and potential collaborations, all remain unknown for now.<\/p>\n Later this summer, Scott will take to the main stage for Reading & Leeds 2025.
