Dejan Kulusevski continues to go from strength to strength<\/p>\n
Kulusevski has arguably been one of the players of the season so far, with the Swede having gone up a couple of gears since being moved to the attacking midfield role.<\/p>\n
With James Maddison not involved against Manchester City, the 24-year-old had more freedom to drift across the pitch and make forward runs.<\/p>\n
He was a constant threat all game, with the Premier League champions struggling to cope with the Spurs man\u2019s running power and his enterprising play.<\/p>\n
Pep Guardiola\u2019s admission about Kulusesvki<\/p>\n
By now, Spurs fans are used to having pundits showering praise on Kulusevski after each game, but this time it has come from the opposition manager.<\/p>\n
Guardiola, who perhaps has more authority on the game than anybody in the world of football, is a part of Kulusevski\u2019s fan club.<\/p>\n
When asked about the former Juventus man, the Man City boss said after his side\u2019s 2-1 loss (via Hayters TV): \u201cReally really good player.\u201d When asked what he likes about the Tottenham star, Guardiola responded: \u201cEverything.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Spaniard was then quizzed on whether Kulusevski reminds him of Kevin De Bruyne, and he said: \u201cNo. Nobody is like Kevin. In his prime? The amount of things that Kevin produces in a game, nobody can do it!\u201d.<\/p>\n
Guardiola cannot stop praising Kulusevski<\/p>\n
This is certainly not the first time that Guardiola has talked in glowing terms about Kulusevski.<\/p>\n
After his side\u2019s loss at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last year, he said (via TBR Football): \u201cWe had chances, and of course when we lose balls in transition with Kulusevski and Son, it is not easy. \u201c<\/p>\n
Speaking after his side\u2019s 4-2 win over Spurs last year, Guardiola said (via TBR Football): \u201cKulusevski, Son, even Bentancur and the other one, they make incredible switch of plays, opposite sides. The threat they have in every single moment is incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n
