Pepe left Bernab\u00e9u at 33 years old<\/strong>. Then he played two years at Turkish Besiktas and six more seasons at Porto, where he retired. Until shortly before that moment, he maintained his status as an international for the Portuguese national team.<\/p>\n

He was an essentially physical footballer and remains in excellent shape. And, despite his retirement, like Bar\u00e7a\u2019s goalkeeper\u00a0Wojciech Szcz\u0119sny<\/strong>, he\u2019s willing to return to activity.<\/p>\n

In fact, it\u2019s been half a year since he left football. And it wouldn\u2019t be hard for him to get in shape to\u00a0finish the season filling the gaps left by injuries at Real Madrid.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He has let Real Madrid know that if he can be of help, they should count on him.\u00a0So far, no one has considered this possibility as feasible<\/strong>, unlike what has happened at Barcelona with Wojciech Szcz\u0119sny.<\/p>\n
