Transfer News & Updates<\/strong>
\nThe 2025 Premier League January transfer window has officially closed tonight, with a number of last-minute deals completed.<\/p>\n

Last summer, Premier League clubs spent around \u00a31.8 billion, but the winter window was still essential for strengthening squads.<\/p>\n

Manchester City<\/strong>
\nManchester City made significant moves this month, with their spending reaching over \u00a3175 million. The club signed four new players, but also bid farewell to Kyle Walker, a long-serving player.<\/p>\n

Aston Villa<\/strong>
\nAston Villa, under Unai Emery, were among the more active teams this window, securing Borussia Dortmund\u2019s Donyell Malen and loan signings Marcus Rashford from Manchester United and Marco Asensio from Paris Saint-Germain. They also lost Diego Carlos to Fenerbahce and Jhon Duran to Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth<\/strong>
\nBournemouth\u2019s manager, Andoni Iraola, has kept his squad largely intact, making only a few additions, including left-back Julio Soler.<\/p>\n

Brentford<\/strong>
\nBrentford made a quiet start to the window, with Michael Kayode being their only incoming player. They rejected a bid from Nottingham Forest for Yoane Wissa.<\/p>\n

Brighton<\/strong>
\nBrighton were active early in January, signing Diego Gomez from Inter Miami and Eiran Cashin from Derby. They also loaned out several players.<\/p>\n

Chelsea<\/strong>
\nChelsea\u2019s window saw the return of Trevoh Chalobah to Stamford Bridge, but no major signings were made. Several players, including Cesare Casadei and Axel Disasi, left the club on loan or permanently.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace<\/strong>
\nCrystal Palace broke Millwall\u2019s transfer record with the signing of attacking talent Romain Esse, while Ben Chilwell joined on loan from Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Everton<\/strong>
\nEverton\u2019s main signing was reappointing David Moyes as manager. Late in the window, they secured former Southampton midfielder Carlos Alcaraz on loan with an option to buy.<\/p>\n

Fulham<\/strong>
\nIt\u2019s been a quiet window for Fulham, with no new signings, although there were loan recalls for Matt Dibley-Dias and Devan Tanton.<\/p>\n

Ipswich Town<\/strong>
\nIpswich have strengthened their squad with several new signings, including Ben Godfrey and Jaden Philogene, as they push to stay in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Leicester City<\/strong>
\nLeicester made a minor signing in Woyo Coulibaly from Palma but still face a tough battle against relegation.<\/p>\n

Liverpool<\/strong>

\nNewcastle had a quiet window due to financial restrictions. Their main activity was outgoing transfers, including Lloyd Kelly\u2019s move to Juventus.<\/p>\n

Nottingham Forest<\/strong>
\nForest made no signings, but they managed to keep their squad intact as they aim for a place in the Champions League.<\/p>\n

Southampton<\/strong>
\nSouthampton made several key additions, including Welington and Albert Gronbaek, as they battle to avoid relegation.<\/p>\n
