<\/p>\nThe Kansas City Chiefs could see a major player make a return off their injury list over the course of the next few weeks as the top team in the AFC continues to roll.<\/p>\n
Chiefs coach Andy Reid said that running back Isiah Pacheco, who has been off the field since Week 2, is making some serious progress on returning from an injury.<\/p>\n
Pacheco has been on the injured reserve list since Week 3 with a fractured fibula at his ankle joint and was expected to miss between six and eight weeks.<\/p>\n
It’s been about six weeks since Pacheco underwent surgery to fix his injury, so now is about the time that he could make a return.<\/p>\n
‘He’s getting there, but he’s doing fantastic,’ Reid told reporters, but did not specify when Pacheco could make a return to the field.<\/p>\n

In his first two NFL seasons, Pacheco topped 800 yards on the ground – setting a career high in Year 2 with 935 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.<\/p>\n
