The philanthropic effort is called LA Rises.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLos Angeles will rise again \u2014 stronger, more united, and more resilient than ever,\u201d Newsom said in a statement Tuesday. \u201cJust as California came together to fight the fires, we\u2019ll work together to rebuild.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis is a time for bold action,\u201d Johnson said in a statement. \u201cWe\u2019re bringing together the best resources and biggest hearts across California to ensure that every Angeleno \u2014 no matter their race, socioeconomic status, or neighborhood \u2014 has a chance to rebuild and thrive.
