ESPN Analyst Predicts Upset in Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl LIX"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Sunday afternoon the Philadelphia Eagles took down the Washington Commanders in a dominant 55-23 victory to make the Super Bowl for the second time in the past three seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Just a few hours later, their opponent from Super Bowl LVII, the Kansas City Chiefs, took down the Buffalo Bills by a final score of 32-29 to make their fifth Super Bowl appearance over the past six seasons.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/athlonsports.com\/.image\/t_share\/MjEyNDAwMTI0MTgwMDQ3MzY5\/super-bowl-odds.jpg\" alt=\"ESPN Analyst Predicts Upset in Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl LIX - Athlon Sports\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The last time these two teams met, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs hoisted the Lombardi Trophy for the second time in a 38-35 victory.<\/p>\n<p>Immediately after the conference title games came to a close on Sunday night, the early betting line for the Super Bowl favored the Chiefs.<\/p>\n<p>According to ESPN Bet, the Chiefs enter the Big Game as slight 1.5-point favorites. Several ESPN analysts took an early look at the best bets for the game.<\/p>\n<p>Some opted to take either a first touchdown scorer or the yardage totals for certain players, but analyst Seth Walder went bold with an upset pick.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s Walder&#8217;s pick from ESPN: I&#8217;m backing the team that, by EPA per play, had the better passing offense, rushing offense, passing defense and rushing defense this season &#8212; postseason included.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a.espncdn.com\/photo\/2025\/0124\/nfl_sb-chiefs-eagles_16x9.jpg\" alt=\"Chiefs-Eagles: Super Bowl LIX predictions, picks, odds - ESPN\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And one that is getting two points!
