Global pop icon Taylor Swift has put her crafting skills to good use as she made a special item for the newborn daughter of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.<\/p>\n

The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer helped celebrate the birth of Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ daughter, Golden, who came into the world on January 12.<\/p>\n

To mark the occasion, Swift got to crafting a baby blanket for the newborn to use, according to Us Weekly.<\/p>\n

A source told the outlet, ‘She makes a lot of things for the people she loves and cares about. She makes sentimental gifts that are more of value to her than expensive gifts.’<\/p>\n

That source also said, ‘She has always been someone who makes arts and crafts. She makes a lot of personal things herself.’<\/p>\n

It’s not the only blanket that Swift has made for the newborns of friends. Back in September 2020, model Gigi Hadid said the ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart’ songstress made a pink blanket for her daughter Khai, who she had with her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik.<\/p>\n

US Weekly’s insider says that Swift is ‘always thinking about her friends and values those gifts more than anything expensive.’<\/p>\n

The source says that Swift is a top gift-giver, saying homemade presents from her ‘have more meaning’ and that when she has to buy presents, she’ll ‘hunt for something special, personal and meaningful for people.’<\/p>\n

The source added, ‘She’s not the type to have her assistant just buy something.’<\/p>\n

Swift’s fellow Kansas City WAG, Chariah Gordon, said back in November that Swift took the time to send a gift to her and her partner, Chiefs wideout Mecole Hardman, after the birth of their baby girl – even though Swift was on tour at the time.<\/p>\n

‘It’s so freaking cute and so thoughtful,’ Gordon told Glamour.<\/p>\n

Swift has formed a close bond with the Mahomes family ever since she started dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in the summer of 2023. She attended her first game that September and has been a fixture in the stands ever since.<\/p>\n

‘Brittany is thrilled to be building a genuine friendship with Taylor.
