Beau Allen scored a pricey gift \u2014 thanks to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce \u2014 after the Chiefs defeated the Texans.<\/p>\n
Allen, 33, was a guest on the Green Light with Chris Long <\/em>podcast on Monday, Jan. 20, where he shared how Swift, 35, helped him walk away with the $11,900 Bottega Venetta shirt that Kelce, 35, wore to Arrowhead Stadium for the game.<\/p>\n
The former football player said Kelce told him to come to the game \u2014 where he cheered on the Chiefs with Swift and basketball superstar Caitlin Clark. \u201cHe\u2019s like, \u2018You\u2019re coming to this game. Don\u2019t make me regret this,’\u201d Allen shared.<\/p>\n
After the Chiefs win, Allen said he complimented the tight end’s salmon-colored Bottega Venetta shirt \u2014 and then got to keep it. “He just f—ing gave it to me, so, it’s pretty slick,” said Allen, who thought it might not fit him at first.<\/p>\n
“I was like, ‘I don’t think it’s gonna fit me,’ and Taylor’s like, ‘Yeah, it’ll definitely fit. Put it on.’ “<\/p>\n
Kelce told his pal that he could have the shirt “if it fits” because the Chiefs star was “never going to wear it again” after being photographed in it during his pregame tunnel walk.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
The former nose tackle then joked how he was “kinda disappointed” that the shirt actually fit. “I used to be a big f—ing boy and now I’m wearing the same clothes as him,” Allen teased.<\/p>\n
Allen also shared how “cool” Swift was during the game, which the Chiefs won 23-14 at Arrowhead Stadium.<\/p>\n
“She led with a compliment,” Allen said of the “So High School” singer. “She said I was funny and that she respected my commitment, to, like, making a joke or getting a laugh or something like that,” he told Long.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\u201cI was just like, \u2018Oh, wow, I really wasn\u2019t expecting a compliment out of you. Like, thank you.’ “<\/p>\n
Swift arrived early to the Chiefs’ first playoff game of the season on Saturday, and brought along her mom\u00a0Andrea, dad\u00a0Scott\u00a0and brother\u00a0Austin\u00a0\u2014 all decked out in Chiefs gear \u2014 to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.<\/p>\n
