Travis Kelce discussed he and Taylor Swift’s ‘very strong relationship’ in a recent interview.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

Travis Kelce isn\u2019t concerned in the slightest about dating Taylor Swift. The NFL player shared in a January 2025 interview that he and the \u201cDown Bad\u201d singer \u201csupport\u201d each other in a way that allows him to bring his \u201cbest\u201d to football games.<\/p>\n

Travis says he and Taylor are \u2018happy\u2019<\/h2>\n

There\u2019s one word to describe Kelce and Swift and how they\u2019re doing in their relationship and that\u2019s \u201chappy.\u201d During a Jan. 15 appearance on the Stephen A. Smith Show, Kelce opened up about dating the pop star.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m enjoying all aspects of life, me and Taylor are happy,\u201d he said. \u201cHaving that confidence and comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s been in the stands cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end at many of his football games since the two began dating in the summer of 2023. (Most recently, Swift watched Kelce in a playoff game alongside her mom, dad, brother, Kelce\u2019s parents, and WNBA star Caitlin Clark.)<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,\u201d Kelce continued. \u201cShe loves coming to Arrowhead [Stadium] and coming to the games and cheering for me so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere during the interview, the 35-year-old NFL football player suggested Swift\u2019s certainly playd a role in him being at the top of his game. \u201cThat\u2019s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft,\u201d he explained. \u201cFocus on being the best version of you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I\u2019m as focused as I\u2019ve ever been on my job and being the best player that I can possibly be, week in and week out for this team,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd it\u2019s because I don\u2019t have to worry about things off the field.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, the Chiefs have one more game to win on their way to securing a three-peat with another Super Bowl win. They play the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., on Jan. 26, 2025.<\/p>\n

As for why Kelce attended so many of Swift\u2019s shows during her record-breaking Eras tour, which wrapped in December 2024, the Super Bowl winner explained it was all about showing up for the Grammy winner.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to be at the concerts supporting her and being there for her,\u201d Kelce said. \u201cMaking sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she\u2019s doing in life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Kansas City Chiefs player became something of a fixture at Eras tour concerts after Kelce and Swift started dating. He attended shows in the U.S. Argentina, Singapore, Australia, and Europe. He also joined Swift onstage during one of her London shows in the summer of 2024, around the same time they posed for selfies backstage with Prince William and two of his children.<\/p>\n

Following the tour, Kelce threw Swift an Eras tour wrap party complete with VIP guests and a remake of the elusive cleaning cart that discretely shuttled the \u201cFortnight\u201d to and from the stage.
