Ineos\u2018 overhaul of Manchester United looks set to reach the squad this year with very few considered safe from being axed.<\/p>\n
This month, already it looks like several first-team departures are being worked on.<\/p>\n
Marcus Rashford is one departure actively being discussed. Meanwhile, Alejandro Garnacho has been the subject of interest from Napoli, Spurs and Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Antony is one United may have to loan with no interest in purchasing him right now. Now, Tyrell Malacia has joined this list.<\/p>\n
According to Dutch outlet Voetbol International, Malacia has now been told that he can leave on loan this month.<\/p>\n
The report claims Malacia will leave on a short loan \u2013 with no shortage of interest in the former Feyenoord full-back. Despite his lengthy lay-off, the report claims clubs from Europe\u2019s top leagues are queuing up to sign him.<\/p>\n
It is said to be a matter of time until he leaves, with Juventus one club to have shown interest earlier this month. Meanwhile, Malacia is also believed to be a target for Ruud van Nistelrooy and Leicester City.<\/p>\n
This claim has since been reinforced by the Daily Mail\u2019s Nathan Salt who confirmed a source close to Malacia has confirmed he will be leaving.<\/p>\n
Malacia is desperate for regular football \u2013 which looks unlikely at United as of now. However, it will leave United needing a replacement.<\/p>\n
Ruben Amorim will need to replace Malacia
\nThe \u00a375k-a-week Malacia has gotten a handful of chances under Amorim to impress \u2013 yet has never looked up to the levels required at this football club. This could simply be match sharpness, but with the demands Amorim has for his wing-backs, Malacia doesn\u2019t appear to be a good fit.<\/p>\n
So if Amorim is getting rid of Malacia, then it would be logical to assume the club are going to replace him considering the Dutchman is the only natural senior option for the position right now.<\/p>\n
This could finally see United trigger the bargain \u00a317m release clause for Alvaro Fernandez, which would be a superb upgrade for Amorim.<\/p>\n
However, if Malacia does leave, it could also mean that Amorim will instead opt for a replacement in the academy.<\/p>\n
