Draymond Green highly values Dennis Schr\u00f6der\u2019s presence on the Warriors.<\/p>\n
\u201cMan, I love playing with Dennis on our team,\u201d the Golden State forward said on the latest \u201cThe Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis,\u201d which debuted this week. \u201cHe brings a feistiness that we need at the guard spot. He brings a demeanor that we need, an alpha male that doesn\u2019t hurt anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite being new to the Bay, Schr\u00f6der isn\u2019t shy and already is a leader on and off the court.<\/p>\n
Green shared an example from the Warriors\u2019 121-113 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Jan. 4 at Chase Center that exemplifies Schr\u00f6der\u2019s impact, particularly on the Golden State forward himself.<\/p>\n
\u201c[Schr\u00f6der] said to me the other day in the Memphis game — I haven\u2019t had a teammate say anything like that to me in years — he\u2019s like, \u2018Yo, yeah, keep talking to them. We at these boys. They ain\u2019t cut like that.\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018You\u2019re right, absolutely,\u2019 \u201d Green told Davis. \u201cHe\u2019s like, \u2018But you\u2019re talking to the refs too much. Talk to the Grizzlies. We\u2019re talking to them, get off [those] refs.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n
