Kansas<\/span>\u00a0City Chiefs tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/span>\u00a0opened up on how his ongoing romance with pop superstar\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/span>\u00a0has improved his game in his 12th NFL season.<\/p>\n

In a year where Kelce has struggled to return to his old form, the tight end says that he\u2019s happier than ever \u2013 despite immense criticism surrounding him. That includes plenty of scrutiny about his relationship, which some have branded a distraction\u00a0with the potential to \u2018harm\u2019 his career<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Stephen A. Smith on his podcast, the ten-time Pro-Bowler revealed that he\u2019s in a good place.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m enjoying all aspects of life,\u2019 Kelce told the longtime host of ESPN\u2019s morning show \u2018First Take\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018Me and Taylor are happy and I couldn\u2019t be happier to enjoy that comfort and confidence off the field and all the support I could ever ask for at the stadium, man.\u2019<\/p>\n

Kelce also said that the support he gets from Swift is a two-way street, and that he works hard to make sure she feels that he is there for her.<\/p>\n

Kelce says that he and his girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, \u2018couldn\u2019t be more happy\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2018Well, I think personally, that\u2019s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you,\u2019 Kelce said.<\/p>\n

\u2018That\u2019s why I wanted to be at the concert, supporting her and being there for her, making sure she feels comfortable and supportive and everything she\u2019s doing in life.<\/p>\n

\u2018I think I\u2019m as focused as I\u2019ve ever been on my job and being the best player that I could possibly be week in, week out for this team. It\u2019s because I don\u2019t have to worry about things off the field.\u2019<\/p>\n

Kelce had a slow start to the campaign and it ended with one of his lowest production seasons in his career.<\/p>\n

The 823 receiving yards he put up and the three touchdown catches he had were both the lowest he\u2019s ever had since his rookie campaign.<\/p>\n

It was this rocky start that\u00a0led many NFL analysts to suggest that the 35-year old might be better off calling it a career after this season<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Other analysts\u00a0blamed Kelce\u2019s partying over the offseason<\/span>, suggesting that the tight end\u2019s jet-setting lifestyle was responsible for his slump.<\/p>\n
