Travis Kelce\u00a0and the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0had Wild Card Weekend off after securing the AFC\u2019s No. 1 seed and a bye in the\u00a0NFL\u00a0playoffs. Now, they will be facing the\u00a0Houston Texans\u00a0in the Divisional Round.<\/p>\n
On Dec. 21, the Chiefs battled the Texans in the regular season, a game that Kelce\u2019s girlfriend,\u00a0Taylor Swift, was in attendance for. This marked the seventh and final game the \u201cBad Blood\u201d singer attended in the 2024 season, with Kansas City going a perfect 7-0 in those contests.<\/p>\n
However, the Chiefs hosted eight contests during the regular season. Swift was forced to miss the Dec. 8 match against the\u00a0Los Angeles Chargers\u00a0due to her final show of \u201cThe Eras Tour\u201d in Vancouver, Canada.<\/p>\n
Swift\u2019s tour lasted from early 2023 to December 2024, spanning almost two years. She also traveled to five different continents, including North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Eras Tour\u201d also broke\u00a0numerous records; most notably, it became the highest-grossing tour ever, beating out Elton John\u2019s \u201cFarewell Yellow Brick Road tour.\u201d Swift\u2019s tour also became the first ever to gross $1 billion.<\/p>\n
While \u201cThe Eras Tour\u201d was still going on, Swift notably gave many different crew members sizable\u00a0bonuses\u00a0reaching $100,000. On Sunday, one member of her staff shared a photo of a hand-written note from Swift, which included the valuable gift. However, it appears the note was written during the tour\u2019s first year in 2023.<\/p>\n
