LeBron James<\/strong>\u00a0flirted with a triple-double on Tuesday night as the\u00a0Los Angeles Lakers<\/strong>\u00a0battled the\u00a0Dallas Mavericks<\/strong>\u00a0on the road — while trouble brewed back home in\u00a0California<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While emergency workers struggled mightily to control wildfires blazing just outside of\u00a0Los Angeles<\/strong>,\u00a0James<\/strong>\u00a0scored 18 points — two of them on a ferocious dunk — and hauled in 10 rebounds while dishing out eight assists as the\u00a0Lakers<\/strong>\u00a0suffered a 118-97 loss to the\u00a0Mavericks<\/strong>. But it was clear that many of the\u00a0Lakers<\/a>‘ players and coaches had their minds elsewhere as devastating fires raged outside\u00a0LA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

LeBron ends his social media “hiatus”<\/h2>\n

Back on Nov. 20, James announced he was taking a break from social media, in response to negativity he saw on\u00a0Instagram<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0X\/Twitter<\/strong>\u00a0following the\u00a02024 presidential election<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0United States<\/strong>. However, James has since used social media to promote some of his various sponsorships while chiming in on trending sporting events — and on Wednesday, he took to X to reveal that he is praying for the fire victims.<\/p>\n
