Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0star\u00a0Travis Kelce\u00a0was the\u00a0victim of a burglary\u00a0in his Leawood, Kansas home on Oct. 7, just hours before their game against the\u00a0New Orleans Saints. The All-Pro tight end reportedly lost an assortment of valuable items, which included his\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0jersey from the Chiefs\u2019 first trip to the championship game back in 2019 when they defeated the\u00a0San Francisco 49ers, 31-20, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n

Kelce has since\u00a0taken extreme measures\u00a0to beef up his security and ensure that another break-in does not happen again. At the same time, however, there have been no reports indicating that the nine-time Pro Bowler has recovered the priceless memorabilia he lost during the robbery.<\/p>\n

In this light,\u00a0Patrick Mahomes\u00a0and the rest of his Chiefs teammates did all they could to try and recoup Kelce\u2019s lost belongings. While it would be virtually impossible to replace each item exactly, Mahomes and Co. put in a real effort to make Kelce feel better amid the unfortunate turn of events.<\/p>\n

According to a new report by\u00a0The U.S. Sun, Kelce \u201creceived a box after a team meeting and was told to open it immediately.\u201d In it, \u201che found some incredible replacements for the collection he loved so dearly.\u201d<\/p>\n

This reportedly includes jerseys from the likes of Rob Lewis, Rob Gronkowski and even the great\u00a0Tom Brady. Mahomes, whose Belton, Missouri estate was also robbed within hours of Kelce\u2019s home burglary, also donated one of his own jerseys as part of the surprise package.<\/p>\n

Kelce\u2019s brother,\u00a0J<\/a>ason Kelce, reportedly chipped in by tapping his contacts with the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles\u00a0to get a Saquon Barkley jersey.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe opened the box and felt like a kid at Christmas,\u201d the source told The U.S. Sun. \u201c\u2026\u00a0They are going straight to his man cave, where he loves to hang out. Those pieces are going to be so special for him.<\/p>\n

\u201cTravis couldn\u2019t stop saying thank you to everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce\u2019s teammates, family and friends were well aware of the fact that he was \u201cvery pissed\u201d about losing some of his most valuable possessions in the burglary, which was what motivated this kind gesture.<\/p>\n
