I just feel like his stuff is electric. He doesn\u2019t have to go deep in games, I think he proved that.<\/p>\n<p><em>You know the narrative coming from Tampa and then going to San Francisco he threw his no-hitter. I think he falls back in to the comfort of what the Dodgers like. It\u2019s just going to be five, six innings of light out pitching.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Snell, 32, looked to be in his best form down the stretch of last season.<\/p>\n<p>Snell was able to pitch the first no-hitter of his career in August with the San Francisco Giants.<\/p>\n<p>He landed on the injured list twice in 2024, but returned stronger than ever after his second stint.<\/p>\n<p>He was one of the best pitchers in baseball in the second half, sporting a 1.64 ERA across six August starts and a 1.00 ERA across four September starts.<\/p>\n<p>Reynolds\u2019 prediction falls in line with what president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman said of Snell in the southpaw\u2019s introductory press conference.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith a guy that\u2019s enjoyed that much success, usually in major league free agency, you\u2019re buying the back-side of a guy\u2019s career, the accomplishments that they have had,\u201d Friedman said.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWith Blake, one thing that\u2019s really exciting for us is, for as much success as he\u2019s had, we feel like there\u2019s more in there and a lot of upside beyond what he\u2019s done to this point, and the impact that can have on us and our quest to win a World Series this year, and as many years as we can see out.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s evident Snell is expected to reach new heights in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>If he were to win the Cy Young next season, it would be his third time winning the award \u2014 and with his third different team.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While the Los Angeles Dodgers are fortifying a winning roster for 2025, one of the team\u2019s latest additions is predicted to win the Cy Young award next&#8230; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":18440,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-18436","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mlb"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.7 -
