Taylor Swift\u2019s 34th year was a busy one, indeed. Just shy of her 35th birthday, the singer wrapped her multi-year Eras Tour in Toronto. But in between her glittery catsuits and theatrical costumes, Swift has shown off a new side of her style this year\u2014much of it in anticipation of her (still yet-to-be-released) Reputation (Taylor\u2019s Version).<\/em><\/p>\n

At the Golden Globes in January, Swift hit the red carpet in a custom green seqiun Gucci dress by Sabato de Sarno, complete with three straps across the open back. While we loved her red carpet glamour, she also offered up a host of street style outfits this year. Be it on date night with Travis Kelce or out to dinner with Gigi Hadid, Swift hit the town (often the West Village) in a variety of skirts and corsets. We especially loved the black Simkhai dress she wore to dinner with Hadid, and the plaid minidress she wore while attending the US Open.<\/p>\n

But if there was one predominant motif in Swift\u2019s wardrobe this year, it was plaid. At a dinner with Hadid, the singer paired a tartan miniskirt with a crop top and platform boots, while she gave plaid a more high-fashion approach in a Vivienne Westwood corset and matching skirt at a Kansas City Chiefs Game.<\/p>\n
