Taylor Swift <\/strong>is holding onto the memories, and they will hold onto you, too.<\/p>\n

During the \u201cKarma\u201d singer\u2019s last ever Eras Tour concert in Vancouver, Canada, Dec. 8, she gave fans a special nod by changing the lyrics of \u201cLong Live\u201d during her acoustic set.<\/p>\n

At the piano, Taylor swapped the Speak Now track\u2019s line from \u201cIt was the end of a decade \/ But the start of an age,\u201d to \u201cIt was the end of an era \/ But the start of an age.\u201d<\/p>\n

The performance was especially sentimental, as Taylor also mashed up the iconic song\u2014one she has often dedicated to fans\u2014with The Tortured Poets Department \u2019s \u201cThe Manuscript\u201d and Reputation<\/em>\u2019s \u201cNew Year\u2019s Day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Each song emulated the end of the tour, with Taylor singing lines like, \u201cThere\u2019s glitter on the floor after the party\u201d and \u201cThe only thing that\u2019s left is the manuscript, one last souvenir from my trip to your shores \/ Now and then I reread the manuscript, but the story isn\u2019t mine anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

And while Taylor has not yet addressed the end of her record-breaking tour, which first began in March 2023, she has previously reflected on the gravity of this moment in her life.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the proudest and happiest I\u2019ve ever felt, and the most creatively fulfilled and free I\u2019ve ever been,\u201d Taylor gushed of the tour in a 2023 interview with Time , also noting the amount of space the tour took up in her life. \u201cI know I\u2019m going on that stage whether I\u2019m sick, injured, heartbroken, uncomfortable, or stressed. That\u2019s part of my identity as a human being now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Indeed, Taylor\u2014who did countless hours of cardio and dance training to prepare and maintain her fitness for the shows\u2014also has shared that the end of this chapter in her career didn\u2019t feel possible for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s taken over everything,” she reflected while on stage this summer in Liverpool. \u201cI think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they are anymore, because all I do when I’m not onstage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups, and think about what you might want to hear.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 14-time Grammy winner\u2014who has released a concert film, two rerecorded albums, a brand new LP and sparked a romance with Travis Kelce <\/strong>amid the Eras Tour\u2014may now be telling herself it\u2019s time to let go, but she did leave fans with one last memento to remember the epic shows: the Eras Tour book.<\/p>\n

In her announcement for the ubiquitous manuscript, which is now available, she added, \u201cThis tour has been the most wondrous experience and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way.\u201d<\/p>\n
