The end of an era! Taylor Swift wrapped her Eras tour and the \u201cI Can Do It With a Broken Heart\u201d singer got emotional while looking back at the 149 shows she\u2019s performed since the tour took off in March 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I\u2019ve done in my entire life. We\u2019ve gotten to perform for over 10 million people on this tour,\u201d she told the crowd during the Lover<\/em> portion of the show. \u201cAnd tonight, we get to play one last show for you here tonight in beautiful Vancouver. We\u2019re gonna make it count.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later on in the show, Taylor thanked the crowd for giving her and her band a standing ovation following her performance of \u201cChampagne Problems.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis tour has been the adventure of a lifetime,\u201d she said. \u201cI speak on behalf of my band \u2026 my fellow performers who all left their families and have spent time away from everything that they know and love and have performed when they were sick. When anything was going on in their lives, they made sure that this show come through [for] you and I just wanted to say that on behalf of all of us, we will never forget you giving us that moment. Thank you, Vancouver.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the surprise song portion of the show, Taylor explained that she wanted to go \u201cback to the beginning\u201d of her career and sang \u201cA Place in This World\u201d mashed up with \u201cNew Romantics\u201d on guitar. She continued the surprise song portion by performing a mashup of \u201cLong Live,\u201d \u201cNew Year\u2019s Day\u201d and \u201cThe Manuscript\u201d on piano.<\/p>\n

While performing \u201cLong Live,\u201d fans noticed that Taylor acknowledged the end of the tour by changing the lyric \u201cit was the end of a decade\u201d to \u201cit was the end of an era.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before she performed the final song of the night, \u201cKarma,\u201d Taylor thanked \u201cevery single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date.\u201d She added, \u201cMy beloved Eras tour. Can you give us one more song?\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor concluded her worldwide tour on Sunday, December 8, in Vancouver, while a crowd of 60,000 cheered her on. Her boyfriend, Travis Kelce<\/strong>, was sadly not in attendance due to a football game with the Chiefs on the same night. However, she did give him a shout-out by singing, \u201cKarma is the guy on the Chiefs\u201d during the final performance of the night.<\/p>\n

Fans likely expected the \u201cAll Too Well\u201d artist to tear up during her final performance. During her show in Toronto, Canada, on November 23, Taylor had already gotten misty-eyed talking about the end of the tour\u2019s historic run.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo my band and to my crew and to everybody who has put so much into this tour \u2026 I don\u2019t even know what I\u2019m saying anymore,\u201d the Miss Americana star told the crowd. \u201cI\u2019m just having a bit of a moment, sorry. It\u2019s not even the last show!\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued as she brushed away a tear, \u201cMy band, my crew, all my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this. And you have put so much of your lives into being here with us tonight and giving us that moment that we\u2019ll never forget. We\u2019ve loved our time in Toronto, it\u2019s been so amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the last 21 months, the \u201cWho\u2019s Afraid of Little Old Me?\u201d singer has visited five continents and made stops in 54 cities all over the world. The three and a half to four hour show gave fans a taste of all of Taylor\u2019s different eras since she made her way onto the music scene in the early 2000s. The Grammy winner performed around 44 songs for every show, including surprise mashups of different songs for each stop. During her time on the road, Taylor has brought other artists on stage to perform with her, including Sabrina Carpenter, Florence Welch<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n

While some fans hoped that Taylor would continue to add more dates to the tour, she confirmed in June that it was officially ending in December.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the very first time I\u2019ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is gonna end in December,\u201d Taylor said during a heartfelt moment at her 100th show. \u201cLike, that\u2019s it. That feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so much fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows [total] that we have on the whole tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cThis has been the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life. This tour. These moments with you.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of Taylor\u2019s most memorable shows occurred at Wembley Stadium in London in June when Travis, 35, made a surprise appearance for one segment of the performance. The Kansas City Chiefs star came out to \u201cprep\u201d Taylor for her next song.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s such a fun and playful part of the show,\u201d Travis told his \u201cNew Heights\u201d cohost and brother Jason Kelce<\/strong> during the July 3 episode. \u201cIt was, like, the perfect area or perfect time for me to go up there, just be a ham, and have some fun, not only with her, Kam<\/strong> [Saunders<\/strong>] and Jan<\/strong> [Ravnik<\/strong>], but the crowd and really try and get everybody excited for the rest of the show.
