The Miami Heat might be mid-table in the Eastern Conference, but there is a bright spot on their season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In recent history, the Miami Heat\u2019s mantra has been to make the playoffs and see what happens from there. They made the NBA Finals as the No. 8 seed in 2023. However, it\u2019s not quite a recipe for winning a title.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve been unable to reach the NBA\u2019s mountaintop with their current core, and Jimmy Butler could be on the move after this season, as the Heat didn\u2019t give him his desired contract extension.<\/p>\n

While the Heat might have to move on from Butler, they\u2019ve got two young players with star potential, and one could even earn an All-Star bid this season, despite their current 10-10 record.<\/p>\n

Chandler Parsons claims Tyler Herro is worthy of All-Star status<\/h2>\n

Despite having been a 20-plus points per game scorer before, Herro has been unable to earn an All-Star bid. The Kentucky product has been quite a stellar player in the NBA, though he hasn\u2019t reached a production level that helped him earn the All-Star honor.<\/p>\n

This year could be different, however. Former NBA player Chandler Parsons, in a recent episode of \u201cRun It Back,\u201d claimed that Herro should be an All-Star, and the Heat are deserving to have a player make the game from their roster.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, Tyler Herro is averaging 25, five and five. As long as they can keep winning, they stay in that four to seven range, I think the Heat deserve an All-Star,\u201d Parsons said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no doubt in my mind it\u2019s him. There\u2019s no one else on that team. It is him.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a recent 134-93 win over the Los Angeles Lakers, Herro tallied 31 points, five rebounds and four assists while making 11 of his 19 shots. It was a statement, momentum-securing win for the Heat while the Lakers have clear issues within their organization.<\/p>\n
