Patrick and Brittany share daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Bronze, who turns 2 in November, but this is their first baby together since the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Swift became an item.<\/p>\n
According to\u00a0a report from The U.S. Sun\u00a0published on October 24, Patrick and Brittany \u201cwant Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce\u201d to be their \u201cnew baby\u2019s godparents.\u201d<\/p>\n
The U.S. Sun\u2019s report\u00a0states that Patrick and Brittany\u00a0\u201care in absolute lockstep when it comes to naming the godparents for their third child, who\u2019s due to arrive early next year.\u201d<\/p>\n
They add that a \u201cwell-placed source has told The U.S. Sun that the Mahomes dear friends, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, are the couple in mind to keep an eye on their new baby girl.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAccording to the insider, NFL duo Patrick and Travis are like \u2018brothers,\u2019 and their telepathic relationship playing for the Super Bowl champs is replicated with true friendship away from the football field,\u201d\u00a0writers Steve Brenner and Daniel Cutts add. \u201cAnd with Brittany and Taylor also close and fostering a \u2018superb relationship,\u2019 asking the couple to be the new arrivals\u2019 godparents was a slam dunk.\u201d<\/p>\n
The outlet also says that one source states Kelce and Swift were the couple\u2019s \u201cfirst choice\u201d not just because they are friends but also \u201cbecause of their \u2018solid relationship\u2019 and strong family values.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cPatrick and Brittany love to spend time with Travis and Taylor. They see them as the best people to be the godfather and godmother of the next child,\u201d\u00a0the source added.<\/p>\n
On his New Heights podcast on Wednesday, October 24,\u00a0Kelce spoke with his brother and co-host Jason Kelce about missing Swift\u2019s Miami concerts. Jason was at Swift\u2019s show on Friday, October 18, with his wife, kids and their mom Donna.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, I had all the FOMO in the world,\u201d\u00a0Travis said. \u201cI had a bunch of friends that were also down by the stage \u2026 they were saying the same thing that you\u2019re saying. The Miami stadium was just on another level.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was incredible,\u201d Jason added.<\/p>\n
\u201cMan, I wish I was there,\u201d Travis said, also saying that he was really proud of Swift performing so well, even with the bad weather that night. \u201cShout-out to Tay Tay for powering through a few rain shows there,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Kelce had to miss the show due to his commitments with the Kansas City Chiefs. His game against the\u00a0San Francisco 49ers, which the\u00a0Chiefs won, overlapped with Swift\u2019s concerts.<\/p>\n
