Travis Kelce further expressed his dissatisfaction with how his once source of pride is non-existent this time around. The 35-year-old TE said that he used to be so lethal in the red zone, but this season, he just couldn’t find his way in such situations.<\/p>\n

“Where I take a lot of pride is once we get in that red zone, man,” Kelce added. “I get a little hungrier.”<\/p>\n

Despite Kelce’s performance, though, the Chiefs remain the best team in the NFL with an 11-1 record.<\/p>\n

Hopes remain high that he will be able to find that edge again in time for the playoffs. After all, for the Chiefs to complete their three-peat bid, they need Patrick Mahomes’ top target to be at his best.<\/p>\n
