The Baltimore Ravens knew walking into this season they were lacking a reliable pass catcher behind Nelson Agholor after releasing Odell Beckham Jr. from his contract.<\/p>\n
However, they\u00a0got Derrick Henry in this past free agency\u00a0which signaled a stronger emphasis on the ground game.<\/p>\n
John Harbaugh said before Henry isn\u2019t the entire team but it\u2019s surprising they haven\u2019t found their consistent receiver behind\u00a0Zay Flowers\u00a0and Rashod Bateman to catch those balls on crucial third-down situations.<\/p>\n
Baltimore will have to figure out how to survive with Bateman being banged up despite signing a contract extension this past offseason.<\/p>\n
It doesn\u2019t look to get any better since they were hoping by trading for\u00a0Diontae Johnson, he would be a viable replacement for Beckham.<\/p>\n
The Ravens are\u00a0suspending Johnson for one game\u00a0after refusing to start in the matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Johnson might be looking for a new team this upcoming offseason barring any resolution before the postseason.<\/p>\n
Reynolds won\u2019t start a full game but they could sign him on a one-year deal to see how useful his hands could be for Lamar Jackson.<\/p>\n
The Kansas City Chiefs continue to have the same wide receiver issues for the past three seasons despite winning back-to-back Super Bowls.<\/p>\n
They brought in Marquise Brown this past free agency in hopes of being a reliable replacement in place of Marquez Valdes-Scantling.<\/p>\n
After dealing with Rashee Rice\u2019s offseason issues, he\u2019s also another man down behind Brown who will likely have to wait until next season to play a full game.<\/p>\n
This forced the Chiefs to find a legitimate playmaker that could change the passing game which they may have found from\u00a0DeAndre Hopkins.<\/p>\n
However, he has yet to get a full-time snap count which raises questions about his abilities to play a part of a superstar team.<\/p>\n
They\u00a0may be waiting until the postseason\u00a0to get him more involved but it\u2019ll be more efficient to target him more in the regular season to keep him fresh.<\/p>\n
JuJu Smith-Schuster\u00a0and Mecole Hardman have yet to do anything explosive and with Skyy Moore likely gone next year, they could use some reserve backup firepower.<\/p>\n
