After nearly 150 shows and year and a half on the road, Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras tour is coming to a close. The pop star will perform her final three concerts in Vancouver starting on Dec. 6.<\/p>\n
During the tour’s penultimate stop in Toronto, Swift broke down in tears while addressing the sold-out crowd at the Rogers Centre. “This tour, I don\u2019t even know what I\u2019m saying anymore…<\/p>\n
“My band, my crew, all of my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this. And you\u2019ve put so much of your lives into being with us tonight and to giving us that moment that we will never forget.<\/p>\n
While the 34-year-old emotionally prepares for the final show, Vancouver is thanking their lucky stars she chose this city to wrap up the global phenomenon that the Eras tour.<\/p>\n
Before Swift’s first show at B.C. Place, Ken Sim, the mayor of Vancouver, announced the nine-figure economic impact the Eras tour is expected to bring to their city.<\/p>\n
