Steph Curry<\/strong>\u00a0has become the 29th player in NBA history to score at least 24,000 points. Curry broke the barrier on Saturday night in the\u00a0Golden State Warriors’ 113-105 loss against the Phoenix Suns. Can the Warriors superstar make the league’s top 10 all-time scoring list?<\/p>\n

With less than five minutes left in the game, Curry received a perfect bullet pass from\u00a0Draymond Green\u00a0after cutting to the basket. He made the easy layup as Tyus Jones and Royce O’Neale were too late to react or challenge the shot. It was a historic shot, but the Warriors were down 15 points at that point.<\/p>\n

Curry finished the game with 24,005 career points, with\u00a0Allen Iverson\u00a0in his sights next. Iverson is ahead of the two-time MVP by just 363 points. Curry currently averages 22.5 points per game, which means he could surpass “The Answer” in 17 games. If he stays healthy, he’ll make it official early next year.<\/p>\n
