The Golden State Warriors officially have a losing record after their loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. At 11-12, the Warriors are already 3.5 games back from the Western Conference\u2019s 6th seed. Changes to the roster seem inevitable, and it might finally be time for Jonathan Kuminga\u2019s Warriors exit.<\/p>\n

Kuminga started the season on the first team, but has since been struggling. The forward\u2019s minutes played have been falling consistently, and his numbers have also dropped as a result. After a season of turmoil last year, the prediction and betting markets suggest his time might finally be up.<\/p>\n

The Kuminga situation doesn\u2019t seem like it\u2019s about quality or skill anymore. He is as disgruntled as a player can be within a franchise. And it makes sense for the Warriors to cash in on the 23-year-old while teams still believe they can develop his talent.<\/p>\n

Kuminga is averaging 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, but he is capable of so much more. A 6\u20197 wing that can score is a valuable commodity, although the Warriors may not get maximum value in return. If they can get some shooting and defense in return, though, that might be more than enough.<\/p>\n

Golden State has been linked with actively seeking a move for Herb Jones from the New Orleans Pelicans. And using Kuminga in such a trade might ensure it actually happens. At this point, no NBA fan would confidently bet on Kuminga staying with the Warriors beyond this season.<\/p>\n
