\u201cRegarding the penalty, I don\u2019t think it was justified. Even some Newcastle people admitted they didn\u2019t see it as a penalty. We need consistency\u2014if that counts as a foul, you\u2019d see two every game. I think the referee initially made the right call; VAR should only intervene when it\u2019s clear and obvious.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut the focus is on us. It\u2019s a great point away, and I\u2019m pleased.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe fans were phenomenal\u20143,000 travelled, supporting us throughout, singing for Vicario. That shows real unity.\u201d<\/p>\n
On the impact of the travelling support, he added:<\/p>\n
\u201cYou could really hear them. This is a tough stadium for away fans, but they matched the team\u2019s effort. That togetherness helped us secure what I believe was a fully deserved point.\u201d<\/p>\n
Regarding Romero\u2019s leadership:<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course, it matters. You can set everything up tactically, but key moments rely on influential players. Cuti delivered that today.\u201d<\/p>\n
