\nFor Mecole Hardman Jr., joining the Buffalo Bills isn\u2019t about turning the page \u2014 it\u2019s about keeping the story alive. The three-time Super Bowl champion and one of the NFL\u2019s fastest men says he\u2019s still chasing the same dream that started in Kansas City \u2014 even if he\u2019s now doing it in Buffalo blue.
\nJust one days after signing with the Bills practice squad, Hardman addressed his unexpected return to the AFC spotlight with honesty and humility.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t choose to leave the Chiefs,\u201d Hardman said. \u201cI chose not to quit. Life in the NFL moves fast \u2014 sometimes faster than my own 40-yard dash. But if this league has taught me anything, it\u2019s that heart lasts longer than speed.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old wide receiver, once one of Patrick Mahomes\u2019 most trusted weapons, played a key role in three championship runs for the Kansas City Chiefs \u2014 including catching the game-winning touchdown in Super Bowl LVIII. After brief stints with the Jets, Packers, and now the Bills, Hardman admits that leaving Kansas City never felt permanent.<\/p>\n

\u201cKansas City made me who I am \u2014 not just as a player, but as a man,\u201d he continued. \u201cEvery time I lace up, I carry that red and gold inside me. I\u2019ll play wherever I\u2019m needed, but when it\u2019s all said and done, I want to retire a Chief.\u201d
