However,\u00a0Reaves continued his incredible hot streak in their absence and capped it off with one of the best clutch shots of the young season so far.<\/p>\n<p>Reaves did everything for the Lakers in this game, especially on offense, without their two superstars. He finished with 28 points on 9-for-24 shooting to go with 16 assists, tying a career-high, in 40 minutes. His buzzer-beater is also the first game-winner at the horn in the NBA this season.<\/p>\n<p>This is just the latest epic moment for Reaves in what has been an incredible start to the season for him.<\/p>\n<p>The 27-year old scored 51 points and was one assist shy of a triple-double in a win over the Sacramento Kings before dropping 41 more points in a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday. Now, he has capped off one of his best games ever as a playmaker with a clutch game-winner to get the Lakers to 3-2 on the season.<\/p>\n<p>LaRavia was also a big key in the win for Los Angeles, finishing with 27 points on 10-for-11 shooting, including five 3-pointers.Rui Hachimura and Deandre Ayton both added 17 in the win.<\/p>\n<p>The Timberwolves were also shorthanded in this game as\u00a0Anthony Edwards sat on the bench with a hamstring injury.
